The painting on this page was done for a long time friend of the artist, who's boyfriend had contacted Brian through email:

"...First of all, I just want to say that J*** loves your work and I do as well. We both really like the pictures that have things hidden in them and are very colorful. I've thought about what I would want in the picture and even talked with several people about what I should put in it. I would like to have some things put in there that we would recognize that maybe some others won't.

I've attached a picture, and I was thinking that it could be sort of in the middle with the following things hidden around it: a hammock, 2 people slow dancing under a streetlight, a turtle, the beach, and a golf ball.

I don't want you to feel that you have to put them in any sort of order or even paint them realistically in the painting. I definitely want to have you do your thing with the painting and have you just run with it..."
